Stokes Township has three separate zoned areas:
Zoning permits are required in these areas. All other areas of the Township currently do not have any zoning, but their are several county agency requirements(see “Other Building Requirements and Resources” page on this website) .
The zoning regulations are administered and enforced (legal penalties) by the Zoning Officer, Richard Stewart. Mr. Stewart was appointed by the Board of Trustees in October 2014. Zoning questions can be addressed by Mr. Stewart by calling 937.367.4858 or e-mailing at santafebc@woh.rr.com.
